The Shasta County 4-H Field Day will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shasta District Fair grounds in Anderson.
The event will include a large and small animal field day and expo challenge, a mechanics and science field day and a home economics field day.
New for this year, games and activities will be conducted on the lawn area and Trinity Hall for youth not busy exhibiting their projects, according to the University of California Cooperative Extension.
